The Hmong textile market in Chaing Mai, Thailand: the Warorot; I was there every day in the week I spent there, marveling and collecting what I could haul home of these precious textiles, come down from the mountains in Viet Nam as the Hmong people shape-shifted under the pressures of politics and war and heaped in mounds in this one tiny corner of the world.
